Thank you for visiting the Valdosta State University Office of Financial Aid's (OFA) new site! As stated in our mission statement, we are dedicated to helping students and parents obtain the financial aid necessary to pay for a college education here at Valdosta State University. Aid takes many forms… grants, Federal Work-Study, loans, and scholarships are available through our office to help pay for educational expenses. The Office of Financial Aid should be your first stop if you are looking for information on aid eligibility, loans, the PELL grant, the HOPE Scholarship, or the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid).
We strive to provide the highest level of customer service and staff in the Office of Financial Aid are held to the highest ethical standards described in the Office of Financial Aid Code of Conduct.
To students and parents, Financial Aid can sometimes seem like a long and complicated process, and one of the things we are striving for is to make the application and award process as easy to understand as possible. We would very much like to hear your feedback on any ways that we might improve the site to accomplish this.
